This is one of those IYKYK watches. NOMOS is not a loud luxury brand. It’s a brand for people who appreciate modern design, real horology, and understated quality. Based in Glashütte, Germany, NOMOS is an independent manufacture and says it produces the most mechanical watches in Germany, with calibers developed in-house and made in its own workshops. Their watches draw on Glashütte’s long watchmaking tradition, and the “Glashütte” designation is a protected origin tied to meaningful local production.
